Website Manager for the Evolution Mallorca International Film Festival
Position: Website Manager
Location: Remote (Work in CET timezone)
Start Date: June 2nd, 2025
The Evolution Mallorca International Film Festival is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Website Manager to join our team. If you have a passion for film and a knack for web management, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update our website with fresh content, including news, press releases, photos, and more.
- Ensure all website links are functional, and that content is uploaded in high resolution.
- Translate All English Content into Spanish and Catalan Language.
- Pre-festival: Regularly update the website with the latest festival information and press releases.
- Actively prepare for the festival during the 3-4 weeks (month of October) leading up to the event, by uploading the complete festival program, which includes all films, panels, and event information.
- Communicate with event venues (cinemas, panels, and workshop locations) to obtain and embed ticket links on the website.
- Collaborate with sponsors and partners to update brand logos, descriptions, and links on the site.
- Manage online ticket sales via Eventbrite and directly with cinemas, including handling discount codes for ticket and festival pass sales.
- Oversee the festival's YouTube channel, embedding new videos on the website as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Monitor website performance and user experience, making improvements as necessary.
- Implement SEO best practices to enhance website visibility.
- Work with graphic designers for promotional materials and website content.
Work Timeline 2025:
- June: Part-time
- July: Part-time
- August: Part-time
- September: Part-time
- October: Full-time (intensive preparation for the festival)
- November: Part-time (post-festival wrap-up)
Compensation: Paid position.
Qualifications:
- Must know, read, write, and speak English, Spanish, and Catalan.
- Proven experience in website management and content updates.
- Familiarity with Google Drive, YouTube, and Eventbrite is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- A passion for film and the arts is a plus!

This is a voluntary position, offering you valuable experience and knowledge about the film industry and film festivals.
Time Commitment:
- Deadline: February - August 2025
- Hours: 2-4 hours per week (depending on personal availability).
- 30-minute monthly calls: Every second Saturday of the month
Professional film education is not required; however, experience in the fields of film, culture and cinematography is a plus.
