Shira Dubrovner is the founder and director of the Mammoth Lakes Film Festival (MLIFF). MLIFF is a five-day festival that screens independent features and shorts in the spectacular setting of Mammoth Lakes—California’s premier mountain resort, high in the Eastern Sierras. Shira takes chances on talented but little-known artists and are committed to discovering new voices that will shape the future of film. Laura Gost (Sa Pobla, 1993) es escritora. En 2018 ganó el Goya a Mejor Cortometraje de Animación por Woody & Woody y los premios Jaume II y Bartomeu Rosselló-Pòrcel. Vencedora en el V Torneo de Dramaturgia de Baleares y el IX Torneo de Dramaturgia Catalana de Temporada Alta, su novela La cosina gran, que encabezó las listas de más vendidos de Sant Jordi y de la Feria del Libro de Palma, ha sido traducida al castellano y se publicará en italiano en 2021.

Laura Gost (sa Pobla, 1993) is a writer. In 2018 she received a Goya for Best Animated Short Film for Woody & Woody and won the Jaume II and Bartomeu Rosselló-Pòrcel awards. Winner of the V Balearic Dramaturgy Tournament and the IX High Season Catalan Dramaturgy Tournament, her novel La cosina gran, which topped the best-selling lists of Sant Jordi and the Palma Book Fair, has been translated into Spanish and It will be published in Italian in 2021.

Mi cortometraje, "El Atraco", ha ganado 66 premios y ha sido seleccionado en 175 festivales. Mi úlltimo cortometraje"Acto Reflejo", obtuvo la financiación del ICAA y apoyo de la Comunidad de Madrid y se estrenó en la Sección Oficial de Cortometrajes de Medina del Campo 2020. Desde 2012, también trabajo como distribuidor con mi catálogo LINE UP Shorts - Film Distribution.

En 2018 cofundó Nòt Film Fest, un festival de cine en Santarcangelo di Romagna (Italia) centrado en el cine internacional independiente del cual es Head Programmer. Junto con sus socios, programa lanzar en 2021 NotStream, una plataforma de transmisión totalmente independiente.

Alongside her partners she is set to launch in 2021 NotStream, an all indie streaming platform.

Clara Ferrer Capó nació en 1993 en Santa Margalida, un pequeño pueblo del nordeste de Mallorca y se formó como periodista cultural en Barcelona. Desde 2016 trabaja en la sección de Cultura del periódico Última Hora, en Palma, donde ha podido informar sobre el versátil panorama artístico de la isla, incluyendo ediciones anteriores del Evolution! Mallorca International Film Festival. 

Clara Ferrer Capó was born in 1993 in Santa Margalida, a little village located in the north-west of Mallorca and was educated in cultural journalism in Barcelona. She works since 2016 at the cultural section of Ultima Hora, a local newspaper based in Palma de Mallorca, where she has the opportunity of informing about the Island varied artistic scene, including past editions of Evolution! Mallorca International Film Festival.

Sus producciones se han centrado en documentales de temática social como “Nuestra vida como niños refugiados en Europa”, Premio Goya a Mejor Cortometraje Documental, “Kafana (¡Basta ya!)”, “Arte por prescripción” y “Los hijos de Mama Wata”. Su documental "Boxing for Freedom" fue seleccionado para los Premios de Cine Europeo. En 2018, recibió el Premio Liberpress Cine por su compromiso con el cine y los derechos humanos. Ha sido seleccionada para participar en el Berlinale Talents Campus, en el IDF Academy del Festival internacional de documentales de Ámsterdam, en el Foro de jóvenes cineastas europeos Generator. Además, imparte formación especializada en cine documental en escuelas, universidades y otras organizaciones.

She is a member of the European Film Academy and the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Spain. Her productions have focused on social-themed documentaries such as “Our life as refugee children in Europe”, Goya Award for Best Documentary Short Film, “Kafana (Enough already!)”, “Art by prescription” and “The children of Mama Wata. ”. Her documentary "Boxing for Freedom" was selected for the European Film Awards. In 2018, she received the Liberpress Cine Award for her commitment to film and human rights. She has been selected to participate in the Berlinale Talents Campus, in the IDF Academy of the Amsterdam International Documentary Festival, in the Generator Young European Filmmakers Forum. In addition, she provides specialized training in documentary filmmaking in film schools, universities and other organizations.

Gina ha trabajado más de 35 años en las industrias del cine y la moda. Giovanni es un cineasta galardonado. Nacido en Italia, comenzó su carrera como guionista y prosiguió con el desarrollo y producción de cine y televisión entre Italia y Los Ángeles, donde vive actualmente. En 2018 cofundó Nòt Film Fest, un festival de cine regional en Santarcangelo di Romagna (Italia) con el objetivo de promover el cine independiente y a los cineastas emergentes. También cofundó la plataforma de transmisión NotStream, que se lanzará el 1 de enero de 2021.

Giovanni is an award winning filmmaker. Born in Italy, he started his career as screenwriter and moved on through film and television development and production between Italy and Los Angeles where he currently lives. In 2018 he co-founded Nòt Film Fest, a community based film festival in Santarcangelo di Romagna (Italy) with the focus on promoting independent cinema and emerging filmmakers. John Charter tuvo su golpe de suerte cuando descubrió que su congelador lleno de almendras de la granja de su familia podía sobornar a cualquier cliente potencial. De la noche a la mañana, su carrera se disparó de pasante de desarrollo de guiones no remunerado a director de una amplia gama de películas artísticas, videos musicales y comerciales. Obras notables incluyen sus películas de moda Guess y la película de arte de criaturas REMISSION, que apareció en el programa Anarchy en Slamdance Film Festival y ganó premios en Brooklyn Film Festival, Evolution Mallorca International Film Festival, Oxford Film Festival, Sapporo International Short Film Festival y mucho mas.

John Charter had his lucky break when he discovered that his freezer full of almonds from his family’s farm could bribe any potential client. Overnight his career rocketed from unpaid script development intern to director of a wide spectrum of art films, music videos, and commercials. Notable works include his Guess fashion films and the creature art film REMISSION, which was featured in the Anarchy program at Slamdance Film Festival and won awards at Brooklyn Film Festival, Evolution Mallorca International Film Festival, Oxford Film Festival, Sapporo International Short Film Festival, and many more.
